The sun barely popping it’s head out from under the covers I arrived to the ABC Studios in the early and might I mention, quiet hours of the morning ready to pitch some story ideas to the morning crew.
One of my story ideas was snapped up, 150 years of skiing in Australia which meant that I then needed to chase up a talent to be ready to come onto the program at 10:15am. With a quick Google search I discovered that the Thredbo Historical Society President, Alan Fredricks might be able to talk with Andrea Close about 150 years of skiing in Australia and with my delight he said yes.
With my talent confirmed and the program fully booked out I sat in to watch the morning program go to air but this time I answered phones and assisted guests in and out of the studio.
The afternoon was spent doing research for story ideas. I chased up some talent for another story idea but it ended up being dropped.
